If a keg you scan is on a pallet you can move the whole pallet, or choose to break it up

Dispatching Kegs

Choose your product type from your list of untapped or Kegstar products. You can Add/Manage Products if your product is not listed. This step is optional.

Scan keg/s. If the keg is on a pallet you can dispatch the pallet or break it up

Choose the Dispatch Kegs option (you may be prompted to log in)

Choose the location you are dispatching kegs to

Review dispatch: check the total number of kegs and the To and From organisations, then click Confirm Dispatch to complete. You can alternatively choose to Save and Dispatch later by choosing Stage Dispatch option.

A dispatch will be confirmed via email

Add/Manage Products

Click on the tag icon on the left and choose Manage Products from the list that appears.

Search for your products listed on Untappd by entering the name in the Search text box at the top.

Select from the list of Untappd Products and choose ADD from the popup. If not listed on Untappd, you can add it to Kegstar App by clicking on the plus icon and entering a name and optionally uploading a photo.

The list of your selected products is displayed. Click on the product icon to update or delete, or click the back arrow to return to Scan page.

Dispatching a Staged Dispatch

Scan any keg/s from the dispatch to retrieve the Staged Dispatch.

Choose Dispatch option to proceed to confirmation page.

Review dispatch: check the total number of kegs and the To and From organisations, then click Confirm Dispatch to complete

Delete a Staged Dispatch

Open Dispatch History page from the main menu of the app.

Choose dispatch from the list, by clicking or swiping to the left.

Choose Delete to delete the Staged Dispatch.

Add or Remove kegs from Staged Dispatch

Scan any keg/s that are part of the Staged Dispatch to retrieve the Staged Dispatch.

Choose Update to add/remove kegs from the Staged Dispatch.

To remove kegs from the Staged Dispatch. Scan any keg/s currently part of the Staged Dispatch. Click Delete to remove kegs or OK otherwise.

To add kegs to the Staged Dispatch. Scan any keg/s currently not part of the Staged Dispatch. Keg/s are added to the Staged Dispatch.

Change destination of a Staged Dispatch

Scan any keg/s from the Staged Dispatch to retrieve it.

Choose Update option to proceed.

Tap on the top right label displaying the total number of Kegs to proceed to the confirmation page.

Tap on the top left < label. Choose a new Destination for the Staged Dispatch.

Deleting Kegs from a Dispatch or Collection

Choose the Edit Kegs option

Swipe left on the individual kegs or pallets you would like to delete

Alternatively, delete all scans

Collecting kegs

Scan keg/s. If the keg is on a pallet you can dispatch the pallet or break it up

Choose the Collect Kegs option (you may be prompted to log in)

Choose location you are requesting a collection from (GPS will assist)

Choose your preferred day and time for collection and the area where we can find the kegs

Review collection: check the total number of kegs and the From organisation

Click Confirm Collection to complete

Have a brewery contact me

Once a collection is requested, you have the option to ask a brewery to contact you based on the kegs requested for collection

Click Brewery, Contact Me

Select the brewery/s you would like to hear from

Select Send Contact Request

An email will be sent to the selected brewery/s asking them to touch base with you

FAQ

What if the organisation I want to send the kegs to is not available on the list?

Please email [email protected] with organisation details and it will be added immediately.

What if the organisation I requested to be activated still is not showing?

The organisation may take a couple of minutes to appear. You may need to shut the app down and completely re-open for it to appear.

How do you scan in the dark?

Select the lightning bolt symbol in the dispatch or collections screen.

How do I change my password?

Once logged in, select the Settings icon from the menu and follow the links. It you have forgotten your password, email [email protected] or call 1800 KEGSTAR.

Why is there an error when I log in?

Username and passwords are case sensitive so check that capitals are being used/not used where needed.
You must be in internet range to log in.

Do I need internet connection to scan?

The app can scan without the internet. The dispatch or collection will be saved until the scanning device again connects to the internet.

There is a notification bubble showing on my app.

This indicates there is a saved dispatch or collection awaiting internet connection. Once you have internet connection, the dispatch or collection will automatically send and the notification bubble will disappear.

Can I back-date scans if I have forgotten to scan kegs?

Unfortunately this is not possible.
